Chickens, chickens and more eggs!
We're raising free range broilers at the Valley Road Farm. You can see the movable pens as you drive by. We are having great success raising our 4-5 pound chickens with this method.
The farm has a new layer flock, Red Star Hens. These hens will provide many eggs this year.
We now offer limited quantities of broiler chickens to our CSA members.
Interest in locally grown poultry inspired this addition to the farm. The chickens are raised FREE RANGE on our farm on Valley road. We use chicken tractors to allow the chickens to move about the property safe from natural predators (eagles, ravens and coyotes) and to graze on fresh grass. They're fed with non-medicated grain.

The C.S.A. farm stand will re-open for the season on February 7th! We will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays 2 p.m. until 7 p.m.
Available produce: Salad greens, Lacinato kale, Red Russian kale, collard greens, beets, carrots, garlic, leeks, spaghetti squash, Yukon Gold and Caribe potatoes, brussel sprouts, and Rainbow chard
Available local meats: eggs, ground lamb and lamb chops, whole chicken, pork sausage (italian and breakfast) and pork chops, ground beef and beef steaks
